Our Nature- & Farm-Inspired Weddings

You still get a real ceremony, not a backup plan. If you were planning to have the ceremony under the trees, you have the option of announcing your vows in front of our warm cedar barn doors. And if photographs are taken from the inside of the barn, they will also capture the intense greenery just outside. We keep very close tabs on the weather, so if it turns, we’ll make the call together the morning of, so you’re never left guessing.

Tent Policy: If you would like to bring a smaller pop-up canopy or a specialized styled tent for extra sun shade, this must be pre-approved at least 30 days in advance and set up in a designated area.

Umbrellas: If you prefer the idea of staying outdoors, we can provide you and your guests clear umbrellas.

Unlike most other vendors, we have availability for elopements on any day of the week (i.e., no weekend restrictions!).

Time of Day: To capture the best natural light and keep the farm's schedule running smoothly, ceremonies are typically scheduled between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. To respect our countryside surroundings, all events and clean-up must conclude by 8:30 PM.

We want to be as accommodating as possible during your planning phase, but we do require all details to be locked in ahead of time:

• Pre-Planned Upgrades: If you decide during the planning process that you need more time or want to add a few more guests, please reach out to us at least 2 weeks in advance. We can often accommodate these changes for an additional fee, up to our absolute property maximum of 20 people and a total event length of 6.5 hours.

• Day-of Additions: We cannot accommodate any spontaneous guest additions or time extensions on the day of your event. For insurance and safety reasons, every person on the property must be accounted for on our liability waivers ahead of time. Furthermore, additional guests and time require logistical planning and staffing that cannot be managed on the fly.

Because we balance weddings with the everyday life of the farm, we offer elopements on both weekdays and weekends.

While popular wedding seasons typically book out up to a year in advance, we are uniquely positioned to accommodate shorter planning timelines. We are more than happy to plan a day that works for you and the farm.

Once we officially secure your date for the Intimate Elopement package, we require a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable retainer to secure exclusive access to the farm. The remaining 50% balance is due 14 days prior to your event date. If you have a shorter time line, we will require full, non-refundable payment at the time of contract signing.

For the Micro-Wedding Package or the Farm Celebration Package, we require a $500 non-refundable deposit and signed contract to secure a date, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to your event date.

If you need to postpone due to an unforeseen emergency, please contact us immediately to discuss available future dates and rescheduling within the calendar year without any additional costs.

All payments for the Intimate Elopement package are non-refundable within 2 weeks of the contracted event.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event will not be billed for the final balance.

Yes! We provide a private, climate-controlled camper hidden from the main event space for the wedding couple or small wedding party to relax, touch up, and prepare before the ceremony begins.

We have complimentary on-site parking available for all your guests, with well-drained, level access to the main ceremony and reception areas.

As our property isn’t large, we will help to strategically park guest vehicles to ensure fit and safety.

We focus on providing the perfect backdrop and farm experience. While full catering is not provided in-house, we do include basic snacks for all packages. We also offer charcuterie, canapes and dessert packages. Otherwise, you are welcome to work with your preferred catering team, food trucks, or local vendors to bring your culinary vision to life.

We love the unique magic that animals bring to a farm wedding! To keep everyone safe and comfortable, we have specific guidelines for both our resident animals and your personal pets:

• Our Resident Horses: Our horses live on the property and are available for all of our wedding packages! If you book The Farm Celebration, your package also includes an exclusive, close-up, supervised photo session with our horses. For safety, these sessions are fully guided by our team, and riding is not permitted.

• Your Personal Dogs: We welcome you to include your family dog in your outdoor ceremony and photo session! If including your dog, please notify us at least 2 weeks in advance. Your dog must be kept on a leash at all times, and must have a designated handler who is responsible for their care and clean-up. Dogs are permitted in outdoor areas only and are not allowed inside the indoor spaces or near our horse paddocks.

• Other Animals: We do not permit any other outside animals or guest pets on the property.

We want all of your guests to feel welcome and comfortable, and we believe in being fully transparent about our farm’s current layout:

• The Barn Entrance: The ceremony site at the entrance to our barn is fully accessible, with level ground so guests can gather and celebrate comfortably. In the event of inclement weather, the inside of our barn space is also fully accessible.

• Other Property Spaces: Our alternative outdoor ceremony areas and paths feature natural terrain (such as grass, gravel, and wood-chip paths). These natural elements may be challenging to navigate for individuals with limited mobility or standard wheelchairs.

• Restroom Access: We currently do not have an accessible restroom available, however, we can discuss obtaining one for your event.

If you have guests with specific mobility needs, please reach out! We are happy to discuss the layout in detail to help you determine if our space is the right fit for your celebration.

Events hosted on the farm must comply with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations, requiring the wedding couple to secure a Private Event Special Occasion Permit at least 30 days in advance via the iAGCO Portal.

Additionally, the wedding couple must provide Party Alcohol Liability insurance, keep the wedding strictly private (no open social media promotion), and refrain from selling alcohol for profit. While Smart Serve certification is only legally mandated by the AGCO for public events and commercial venues, the permit holder remains personally and legally responsible for ensuring safe, responsible consumption on the property.

We want to share the farm with you to make the event your own, but to protect our property, animals, and local wildlife, we have a few firm boundaries:

• Smoking & Vaping: For the safety of our wooden structures, surrounding woodland, and resident animals, our entire property is strictly smoke-free and vape-free. Smoking or vaping of any substance is not permitted anywhere on the farm or in the parking areas by guests or vendors.

• Send-off Materials: To ensure the safety of our farm ecosystem and livestock, no outside confetti-style materials of any kind (including traditional confetti, glitter, dried lavender, or flower petals) are permitted on the property. If you would like a celebratory send-off moment during your ceremony, we are happy to provide our own approved, property-safe materials for your guests.

• Decorations: LED candles, personal signage, and floral arrangements are encouraged for the elopement package! These items are included in the Micro-Wedding and Farm Celebration packages.

• Not Allowed: Open flames (traditional candles), fireworks, and any decorations that require nailing or screwing into our barn wood or structures are not permitted.

We provide a Bluetooth speaker system on-site to handle all your audio needs, which allows us to safely manage sound levels on the property. For your soundtrack, we recommend that you connect your own device to our speaker and play a custom playlist curated for your day. We just ask that you designate a trusted guest or coordinator to manage the playback during key moments like your processional.

Note: To respect our neighbours and noise guidelines, all music must be played through our provided system, and must wrap up by 8:30 PM.

To ensure your guests have the absolute best experience on the farm, we provide a digital Guest Guide & Waiver upon booking. We ask that you share this link directly with your guests as part of your digital invitations or wedding website.

This guide covers all the farm essentials so you don’t have to answer repetitive questions, including:

• What to Wear: Helpful tips on footwear so guests can comfortably navigate our gravel paths and grassy lawns (e.g., opting for wedges or blocks over stilettos).

• Property Boundaries: Reminders about our smoke-free policy and safety guidelines regarding our resident horses.

• Arrival & Parking: Clear directions to our property and details on our complimentary on-site parking.

• Digital Liability Waiver: A quick, electronic link so all attending guests can sign their safety waivers ahead of time, ensuring a smooth, completely legally compliant arrival on your wedding day.
